The Municipality of Utrecht believes that it is important for prostitutes to work in a safe and healthy environment. The municipal authority focuses in particular on preventing forced prostitution and maintaining public order. The Zandpad zone is therefore well lit and equipped with surveillance cameras. In addition, a community police officer regularly patrols along Europalaan to ensure that everything is in order. This website contains the rules for working as a prostitute in Utrecht, as well as information about health, safety and support services.
